This magnificent Michelin enamel plaque reproduces a drawing by Arthur Norman Edrop (1884-1973), originally from Birmingham in England, who emigrated to the United States in 1896. Between 1916 and 1926, this talented illustrator portrayed the Michelin Man in over 100 advertisements published in such major American magazines as “Life” and the “Saturday Evening Post”.
The Belgian enamelling plant has been working in the purest tradition of craftsmanship since 1923, in the heart of Brussels.
